Treasure Island Foods Celebrates Grand Re-Opening of Their Streeterville Grocery Store

Starting Monday, Oct. 2nd, family-owned-and-operated grocery chain, Treasure Island Foods, is kicking off two weeks of in-store festivities to celebrate the grand re-opening of their Streeterville store. The store is located inside the historic 680 N. Lake Shore Drive building with the blue towered roof. Since 1963, Treasure Island Foods has been a family owned and managed grocery chain operating throughout the Chicagoland area.

Following an extensive remodel, the store has expanded their offerings across all departments, with a focus on convenience. The store will continue to offer a full-scale grocery, deli, freshly prepared foods, meat, seafood, produce, bakery, and floral departments. The remodeled store now features the following new items: made-to-order fresh pasta bar, pizza and sandwich/panini stations; fresh pressed juices, blended smoothies, and a full-scale coffee bar. A wine and beer program are coming soon. The location also offers an expanded café area for customers to eat and relax with free WiFi.

The grand re-opening celebrations will feature two weeks of free item giveaways, gift card giveaways, product tastings, and demos starting on Monday, Oct. 2. Treasure Island Foods is excited to strengthen its partnership with the local community by now offering free everyday delivery year-round to residents and commercial tenants in the building on orders over $35, beginning Oct. 2.

Treasure Island Foods is also preparing for a summer 2018 opening of a new location in Uptown on the corner of Montrose and Clarendon, in addition to expanding their e-commerce and delivery operations. The grocer is also a featured partner on the Google Express shopping platform, which allows customers to order thousands of dry grocery items from laundry detergent to soda and more for delivery same day or overnight.
