After the decision to buy a1973 Mini Cooper to travel around the UK, the posh Brit and the redneck American leave Northumberland to visit Paris. After hearing how many Americans have not enjoyed Famous Parisian hospitality, the Brit decides to take the American on a 24 hour trip of Paris to show him the kinder side of the Parisians.

This week they join the American podcasters Friday After Work where the Brit beats the American on a quiz about the Revolutionary War.

Join this comedy duo as they discuss the work as they see it, relationships and why Brits and Americans are not the same.

Who

Tom is a redneck American. Working on a dairy farm as a kid, he then went on to become a mechanic and built his first camaro at the age of 19, became a commercial fisherman, then a roadie with Meatloaf, spent 8 years as a stand up comedian and ended up teaching sailing in the Caribbean.

Where he met the posh Brit.

Alba has a masters with Durham University, has worked as a consultant in the not-for-profit sector, is a tai chi practitioner.

Not a likely couple. And yet. When it works it works well. When it doesn't, it just adds to the podcast.
