New Rochelle, NY, April 28, 2016 (Newswire.com) - transFORM Gallery is happy to announce their 5th annual exhibition of artwork by students in the New Rochelle High School’s Performing and Visual Arts Education Program, PAVE.
Opening Reception for “The Self”, will be held on Thursday, May 19th, from 5 - 8pm at our New Rochelle Showroom & Gallery located on 20 Jones Street. The night will include drinks and refreshments for family and friends of New Rochelle High School and gallery attendees.
The PAVE 2 visual art students will be exhibiting three self-portraits each. Instructor, Alexi Rutsch Brock, explains the three types of media: “The first in makers focuses on line and pattern, the second infused glass in collaboration with Bullseye Glass Co. (Mamaroneck, NY), and the third in multimedia, using the grid enlargement technique inspired by artist Chuck Close.”
