Top Artists Announced for Indian Art Showcase
Kala Sutra, the Indian art extravaganza, which is set to take Dubai by storm in October announce the names of some of India's top artists who will be on display.
Dubai, UAE, September 28, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Last year, art enthusiasts from all over the UAE were treated to a Dubai “first” when Indian art was showcased for the very first time in Dubai. Now, Sanchit Art, in association with the Kataria Foundation and BAQAA Glamour Weddings & Events, bring a bigger and better showpiece with 16 top Indian artists committing to participate, each one an icon in his or her own style. Sanchit Art is delighted to announce that this year’s line-up will include the legendary MF Hussain and the eminent contemporary Indian artists Jogen Chowdhury and Neeraj Goswami, with more top artists to be announced in the coming weeks.
Kala Sutra meaning art series, is fast becoming an international art movement which showcases the very best of Indian Art to the world. The Dubai edition of Kala Sutra which opens on 15th October 2015 at RIRA Gallery, DIFC, Dubai will give art devotees as well as connoisseurs a vibrant and colourful experience to cherish. The event will run until 2oth October 2015.
This very special event will be displaying contemporary and modern Indian art and promises something for everyone during the week long exhibition. Organizers are extremely proud to further announce that rare, never before seen pieces will also be on display. For the first time in Dubai, the general public will have the opportunity to see prestigious works of the late Ganesh Pyne, whose esteemed artworks can only otherwise be seen at private collections and museums.
