New York, NY, January 6, 2017 (Newswire.com) - This past year was yet another step toward growing Threads for Thought's team consisting of loyal customers, staff and factories. Together, they are committed to changing the fashion industry by making it more sustainable and ethical.
The Fashion Industry is the second dirtiest industry in the world, and the proliferation of “Fast Fashion” only compounds this problem. Thread for Thought's goal is to be at the forefront of a movement for change, and to speak in a voice that becomes even louder as we advocate on behalf of the planet and those who inhabit it.

Their customer purchases have also assisted those who have fled persecution and war. Threads for Thought has raised over $200,000 in 2016 to be donated to the International Rescue Committee (www.rescue.org). Today, there are more than 65 million people who have been displaced as a result of conflict, so there has never been a time of greater need.
"As we look forward to 2017, we recognize that the challenges facing our planet are daunting. Our commitment to help improve the environment and the human condition is steadfast, and with the help of our Threads 4 Thought team, we will make a difference," Eric Fleet, co-founder of Threads for Thought.
