The World Children's Center Announces John D. Clause as Executive Director

John D. Clause

The World Children’s Center is a 720-acre, three-phase, master-planned sustainable community 40 minutes outside Atlanta, Georgia, currently being developed for homeless, orphaned and/or neglected children. Today, the organization is pleased to announce the appointment of non-profit executive leader, John D. Clause, as its Executive Director. Clause will help lead the project’s efforts to provide a safe and stable environment for 800+ at-risk children through housing, access to education and quality health care, while providing the tools necessary to support their self-management and self-sufficiency for leading meaningful and productive lives.

The Center, once complete, will consist of 100 homes with surrogate house parents and 8 children in each home. It will feature educational programs and facilities, a pediatric clinic, recreational facilities, art and music, an International Humanitarian Development and Training Center, parks and playgrounds and a food and clothing bank to serve the center and surrounding communities.

John is an experienced leader and a man of deep faith. The quality of work, integrity, and broad-based experience he brings to The World Children's Center will help enable the vision and mission of the project to be realized. I am very excited to have John on the team.
