The Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) Welcomes Army Veteran Jessica Morel as Leader of the Stop, Drop and Push Campaign

The Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) is proud to announce that Jessica Morel will lead its philanthropic program, the Stop, Drop and Push (SDP) Campaign, which deals directly with the unique reintegration issues faced by our men and women of service after they serve our country.

Morel will be responsible for educating the public about veteran reintegration issues and for empowering our heroes to seek treatment, rediscover purpose and lead productive lives. She will also be responsible for connecting struggling veterans with organizations across the United States that offer alternative and holistic care.

Since the program's inception, we have raised enough funds to pay for transportation, lodging, horse therapy, healing retreats, water rafting, dog kenneling and other services that have helped over 90 veterans in Arizona, New Mexico and Washington, DC.

Jessica Morel, Stop Drop & Push Program Director

“I’m honored to be Program Director for the SDP Campaign,” says Morel. “I have watched too many of my brothers and sisters in arms struggle, and I feel a great responsibility to create greater access to options for their care.” She adds, “Since the program’s inception, we have raised enough funds to pay for transportation, lodging, horse therapy, healing retreats, water rafting, dog kenneling and other services that have helped over 90 veterans in Arizona, New Mexico and Washington, DC.”

Morel says the SDP Campaign’s 2019 fundraising goal of $100,000 “will allow many more veterans to receive the therapies they need to deal with their reintegration issues.”

The SDP Campaign, established in 2016 in response to the epidemic of veteran suicide, revealed that many veterans who are struggling do not know where to turn for alternative and holistic care, and that financial restrictions may prevent them from seeking this type of care. We create a bridge for veterans by offering grants to assist them in fully participating in alternative and holistic care as a part of their healing journey.

Morel is calling for all corporations, organizations and private foundations to get involved and to learn more by visiting www.stopdroppush.org or calling (480) 797-5141.

About the Stop, Drop and Push Campaign

The Stop, Drop & Push Campaign is a featured program of the USA Homeownership Foundation, Inc., DBA Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, led by vets, for vets, to empower homeownership among the active-military and veteran communities. Although our main focus is on veteran housing, we cannot stand idle while our brothers and sisters become part of the “22-veteran-suicides-a-day” statistic; we are therefore expanding our focus to include educating the public about veteran reintegration issues and empowering our heroes to seek treatment, rediscover purpose and lead productive lives.
