The Top EMBA Programs in the US Southwest Revealed in Annual Study

The University of Oklahoma, Rice University and Colorado State recognized among the best

Ivy Exec’s fourth annual EMBA rankings reveal top-ranked programs in the U.S. Southwest with notable program strengths in areas like career advancement, global experience and more. This year’s rankings once again include Tulane and The University of Texas as well as notable newcomers The University of Oklahoma and Colorado State University recognized in the  2019 Best Executive MBA Programs U.S. Southwest rankings. Two hundred and twenty-six EMBA programs were selected in this study of over one million executive members of the Ivy Exec community.

The Top 10 Executive MBA Programs in the U.S. Southwest are:

  1. Texas McCombs Executive MBA, The University of Texas at Austin
  2. University of Denver Executive MBA
  3. The Rice MBA for Executives Program
  4. Tulane Executive MBA
  5. Texas A&M University Executive MBA
  6. SMU Executive MBA, Southern Methodist University
  7. Texas Dallas EMBA, The University of Texas at Dallas
  8. Baylor Executive MBA in Healthcare, Baylor University
  9. Texas Christian University Executive MBA
  10. Baylor Executive MBA, Baylor University

The rankings are the result of a robust study reflecting accomplished professionals as follows: an impressive 55 percent held 20-plus years of work experience. In the remaining three segments, 22 percent had 15-20 years’ experience, 15 percent had 11-15 and lastly, eight percent had 7-10 years’ professional experience. The study intentionally excluded participants with less than seven years of work experience and entry-level titles. The Executive MBA programs were evaluated based on five key factors identified by the responded pool of accomplished professionals to determine the best EMBA programs in the U.S. Southwest region.

A total of 13 notable programs in the region were recognized among the best programs, including  Colorado State Denver Executive MBA and Oklahoma Price EMBA in Energy.
