The Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) a premier Industry body devoted to furthering the cause of rural marketing, has announced RMAI Corporate Awards 2010. These awards have been instituted to promote and honor the brains behind rural innovations in the filed of advertising, marketing, brand activation/ promotion etc.

The highlight of RMAI Corporate Awards 2010 is that they are being planned on a larger canvas than earlier years in view of larger industry participation from across sectors. There are 11 categories of awards, besides, 9 subcategories especially to reward creative talent under Creative Awards.

Each category will have Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, totaling 33 Awards in all. The contest is open to Rural Marketing & Advertising agencies, Marketing and Brand Consultancies, Promotion marketing companies, Rural Research agencies, Corporate Clients, NGOs and Media

A panel of three judges S Sivakumar, Chief Executive - Agribusiness, ITC Ltd., M G Parameswaran, Executive Director & CEO , Draftfcb + Ulka, Anand Verdhan Sinha, Country Manager, Abt. Associates Inc will be evaluating the case studies and a grand awards ceremony will be held in Delhi on November 26th, 2010.
