Occupy in New Jersey has slowed down. There are fewer and fewer GAs. Facebook groups often show the most recent posts are months old. Blogs are too less updated and websites inactive.
Although Occupy "your town name here" has slowed down, Occupy in New Jersey, as a whole, has real numbers. People, alone in their, towns don't get to see it.
The New Jersey Chapter of the Zeitgeist movement hosts the "Occupy New Jersey Fellowship"

Occupy is about to get a shot in the arm:
The Occupy National Gathering will be held between June 30 thru July 4, 2012 in and around Philadelphia's Independence Mall
• A week of Direct Actions
• Movement Building
• Creation of a vision for a democratic future.
The National Gathering will kick off with a massive march with Healthcare-Now!
On July 5th they will join the Guitarmy for a 99 mile march from Philadelphia to Wall Street NYC.

For us, (6/29) one day before this shot in the arm, a Caravan of Occupiers/activists from all over the North East will roll into Newark NJ to spend the night before heading into Philly.

The point of The New Jersey Chapter of the Zeitgeist movement hosting an "Occupy New Jersey Fellowship" is to welcome the Caravan and show them that we are behind them in their national movement. The point of the "Occupy New Jersey Fellowship" is to also show Occupy New Jersey that they are larger and wield more power than they know.
The solidarity we wish to show the National Occupy movement will translate into local solidarity and produce real action once true New Jersey numbers are shown.
Tentative Itinerary
2:00pm - 3:00pm: The New Jersey Chapter of the Zeitgeist movement hosts the "Occupy New Jersey Fellowship"
3:00pm: Occupy the Banks Move-In Action (other actions related to foreclosures) in Downtown Newark
4:30pm - 6:00pm: People's Organization for Progress (POP) Rally
6:00pm - 7:30pm: Playback Theater and Solidarity Singers at Military Park
7:30pm - 9:00pm: "Tell Your Story" General Assembly at Military Park
Safe Passage
The Occupy Caravan needs accommodations for a one night sleep over; the night of 6/29. This would include a place to sleep and dinner. If anyone is willing to help, please reach out to Occupy Newark at alinkage.school@gmail.com to extend your offer. Please feel free to reach out to faith-based organizations, unions, local organizations/activists groups, and/or fellow comrades to see if they would be willing to accommodate those traveling to Philly for this event.
Again, it is only for one night.

The Zeitgeist Movement is a sustainability advocacy organization
Zeitgeist:
• A resource based economy.
• Applying the scientific method to social concern.
• Respecting human health and the Earth.
The "monetary-market" economy should be replaced with a Resource-Based Economy.
Global resources are shared by all peoples of the world rather than owned and sold. Distribution of resource is arrived at using direct scientific resource management.
Money has served us well. But with today's technology we could easily produce all of the necessities of life and provide a high standard of living for all. Goods and services should be available without the use of money. With today's technology, global resources can be the common heritage of all people.
The Zeitgeist Movement is an explicitly non-violent, global sustainability advocacy group currently working in over 1000 Regional Chapters across 70 countries. The basic structure of The Movement consists of Chapters, Teams, Projects & Events. Overall, the Chapters are essentially what define the Movement and each Chapter works to not only spread awareness about the roots of our social problems today but also to express the logical, scientific solutions and methods we have at our disposal to update and correct the current social system and create a truly responsible, sustainable, peaceful, global society. Working through global and regional educational projects and community programs, the intermediate goal is to obtain a worldwide movement, essentially unifying the people, regardless of country, religion or political party, with a common value identification that we all invariably share, pertaining to our survival and sustainability.
