Dallas-based nonprofit, the Marcus Graham Project (MGP), spends the entire year helping young advertising aspirants launch their careers. This holiday season MGP is on a mission to raise $12,000 in supporter contributions during its "12 Days of Gifting" Holiday Fundraising Campaign. December 12 will mark the campaign's official launch.

"This has been a very successful year for our program, we're expanding, and despite the economy we've assisted several of our alumni with earning jobs in advertising," said Lincoln Stephens, MGP co-founder. "Our program operates solely on the generosity of contributors. Donations raised during the campaign will fund our program's fundamental operations to support the next generation of leaders."

One of MGPʼs unique programs is its iCr8 Summer Boot Camp. The program challenges young, ethnically diverse advertising aspirants from around the nation to operate their own advertising agency for 10-weeks during summer. The participants work with real clients and mentors to gain real-world exposure.

Although MGP doesn't guarantee job placement, as a result of the program alumni have earned jobs with Ohio State University; Wieden + Kennedy; TPN; RAPP; Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners; Commonground; and The Richards Group.

The Marcus Graham Project (MGP) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are 100 percent tax deductible. Donations can be made at www.marcusgrahamproject.org in the amount of $12, $120, or $1200 to assist MGP with meeting the overall goal.
