The Liberia Center Raffles Off a Local Apartment Building
Online, October 21, 2010 (Newswire.com) - RaffleAHouse.Com will be assisting in the House Raffle of a four-unit apartment building on November 17, 2010 at 4:00PM eastern time. The raffle will be benefiting The Liberia Center and will take place where the building is located, in Baltimore City, Maryland.
The Liberia Center is a non-profit organization that has been helping to improve the illiteracy and poverty in Liberia. After being established in 2000, The Liberia Center has been providing scholarships and economical opportunities for Liberians. Through this house raffle, The Liberia Center hopes to be able to raise enough funds to be able to continue their meaningful and important work within the Liberian community.
The apartment building that will be raffled off has been appraised at more than $550,000 and is located in the historic Bolton Hill District. Besides being surrounded by grade schools, colleges, and the Baltimore Zoo, the four-units were also recently renovated and consist in total of nine bedrooms, four and a half baths, four kitchens and two cars parking pads.
The Liberia Center has a goal of selling a minimum of 50,000 and maximum 65,000 tickets. This will put the ticket buyers highest odds at 1 in 65,000. Tickets are on sale now for only twenty dollars apiece and will continue to be up until the draw date. Along with the apartment building, there will also be two cash prizes being raffled off, one at $5,000 and another at $3,000. If not enough tickets are sold, The Liberia Center reserves the right to cancel the project if the minimum amount of tickets are not sold.
