The Jenna Druck Foundation Announces Launch of New Website
Online, October 5, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The Jenna Druck Foundation, has recently launched a new website at www.jennadruckcenter.org, which will allow it to become one of the premier resources for bereaved families, as well as a resource for future young women leaders.
The Jenna Druck foundation has 2 primary programs within its organization: Families Helping Families, and Young Women's Leadership.
Families Helping Families provides programs and services for those seeking emotional support, information and guidance in the painfully difficult hours, weeks, months, and years following a loss. Our services include support groups, education, community outreach, consultation and training. Our Compassionate Workplace and Classroom program is designed to fit the needs of families, schools, communities and organizations.
Young Women's Leadership is a year round program that offers consistent exposure to positive and supportive leadership messages. Sessions are compelling, inspirational and provide important skills that support the often difficult passage through adolescence. As girls participate through the year's curriculum the results is transformational.
The Jenna Druck Foundation was founded in 1996 by Ken Druck after his 21 year old daughter, Jenna, was killed in a bus crash while studying abroad. Inspired by Jenna's extraordinary spirit, special qualities of love and leadership, and to honor his daughter's life, Ken developed the Foundation's two programs, Families Helping Families (FHF) and Young Women's Leadership (YWL). Over the past fourteen years and with the help of dedicated staff, Board members, and volunteers, The Jenna Druck Foundation has made a profound impact on the lives of thousands of people.
