The Greatest Baker has officially been announced, and No Kid Hungry is celebrating with a significant contribution.

The Greatest Baker launched in fall 2020 with talented bakers from around the world excited to showcase their talents in the first online voting competition exclusively designed for bakers. The enticing prize for placing first was a coveted feature in Bake from Scratch Magazine, $10,000, and of course, the bragging rights that come with being crowned The Greatest Baker. Once voting closed on Dec. 10, 2020, and all of the votes were tallied, Sandy Bradley, after a 20-year hiatus from competing in cooking competitions, was crowned the first official winner of The Greatest Baker.

In addition to providing a platform for incredible bakers around the world, The Greatest Baker also served as a cause-based marketing campaign to bring awareness to No Kid Hungry and its mission to end childhood hunger. By the end of the competition, The Greatest Baker proudly provided No Kid Hungry with a sizable donation of more than $368,757 to help support them in their efforts.

"There's no better feeling than being able to help support an organization that does so much to help others," said Mary Hagen, an executive from The Greatest Baker. "No Kid Hungry does everything they can to make a difference in the lives of children and their families by providing them with healthy foods, nutrition education, and so much more. We are so grateful for everything that they do, and we look forward to continuing our partnership together."
