The Furry Nation Fundraiser

Cleveland, OH, January 1, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Today, The Furry Nation, a locally woman owned business in Lakewood and Brecksville announces it’s Blitz Fundraising Day to support the growth and health of its stores.  The Furry Nation has had some big hurdles over the past several years but throughout the years these stores have been a beacon of help and customer support to the community around it.

The Furry Nation customers are a devoted group that come from all over the Cleveland area and even at times from Akron and Columbus for the varied and unique specialty items carried by this Cleveland business.

The Furry Nation’s unique product lines highlight holistic health for dogs and cats with a focus on USA made and sourced foods, eco friendly toys and even treats made right here in the Cleveland area.  

The Furry Nation has struggled through some tough times but has always held strong to a belief that a community like Cleveland deserves and can support a quality pet supply store like The Furry Nation.  However, over the past years, they have had to fight back against a national bank for inappropriately seizing its assets and then just has they were getting their head above water they lost their 110 year old Victorian home to a devastating fire in the Detroit Shoreway area

These hurdles have put a financial strain on the business and owners, Kat Berger and Tim Blase, are asking the community to help boost them out of the hole.  

On January 1, 2017 they will hold a Blitz Fundraising Day.  While you are home watching football and recovering from the previous night’s festivities hop onto their GoFundMe Page to support local business.
