The First American Association of Stem Cell Physicians, to Discuss New Cutting Edge Medical Treatments

Dr. Farshchian confirms the first meeting of The American Association of Stem Cell Physicians (AAOSCP) to spread the knowledge of therapeutics in Regenerative medicine.

Dr. Farshchian

The most innovative Regenerative Medicine Minds will gather this August at the first American Association of Stem Cell Physicians, to discuss new cutting-edge medical treatments. Dr. Farshchian confirmed the first meeting of The American Association of Stem Cell Physicians (AAOSCP) to spread the knowledge of therapeutics in Regenerative medicine.

The American Association of Stem Cell Physicians (AAOSCP) is an organization created by Dr. Farshchian and colleagues, to advance research and the development of therapeutics in regenerative medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease related to or occurring within the human body. Secondarily, the AAOSCP aims to serve as an educational resource for physicians, scientists, and the public in diseases that can be caused by physiological dysfunction that ameliorate medical treatment.

Stem Cell Physicians from around the country will attend the summit this summer to contribute information in order to make advances in regenerative medicine. This is a great opportunity for professionals and the public interested in the growing field.

Bernardo Lessa Bastos, Marketing Director, The Center for Regenerative Medicine

The founding members of the newly formed AAOSCP include:

Robert Alexander, M.D. Voted one of the TOP 10 innovators in the field of STEM CELL INNOVATION and the stem cell field by the international membership of the Academy of Regenerative Practices at their recent conference and scientific sessions! Dr. Robert W. Alexander, M.D., DMD, FICS is an internationally recognized aesthetic & reconstructive surgeon, author, teacher, pioneer in use of stem/stromal cells in clinical practice, and a recognized leader in the field of BIOCELLULAR REGENERATIVE MEDICINE. Contributions in use of adipose-derived stem/stromal cells combined with high-density platelet concentrate in the areas of aesthetic surgery, open flap surgery, chronic wound therapy, and orthopedic medicine/surgical fields are considered novel and vital contributions. Dr. Alexander graduated Magna Cum Laude with full honors from University of Florida (Gainesville) School of Medicine and St. Louis University School of Medicine and Dentistry. NIH pre and post-doctoral research grants supported his early experiences in basic, applied research, and led to multiple advances in surgery and medicine. Dr. Alexander was inducted into the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Alexander has authored many published of many articles in peer-reviewed medical literature, contributions to multiple textbooks, and as a featured speaker in national and international venues on the subjects of plastic surgery and regenerative medicine applications, particularly those in musculoskeletal and orthopedic applications (for the past decade) are well recognized. He is the recipient of multiple awards and recognition in the areas of his primary specialty, as well as in the evolving uses of stem/stromal cells. Academic affiliation with the University of WA (Seattle), practicing/teaching advances in Biocellular Regenerative in plastic surgery & orthopedic regenerative medicine.

Martin Dayton, D.O., Recognized as one of the leading medical practices in the country. The Center stands as Southeast Florida’s oldest existing medical facility practicing complementary, conventional and alternative medicine (CAM), first introduced in 1973 by its Visionary Founder, Osteopathic Physician Dr. Martin Dayton. Holistic medicine is an approach to healing that focuses on the body, mind, and spirit in the pursuit of health and wellness. It is the practice of healing the person, not just the disease.

A.J. Farshchian, M.D. is a medical doctor, medical author and humanitarian in Miami Florida. He is director of The Center for Regenerative Medicine, which he founded in 2000 to pursue pioneering regimens in the treatment of arthritis and neurodegenerative diseases. In 2005 he performed the first autologous live cell transplantation into an arthritic knee in the U.S.A. For the 2012 London Olympics and 2016 Rio Olympics, Farshchian served as consulting Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine physician for the Team USA track-and-field team.

Dr. Joseph Purita, a pioneer in the use of Stem Cell and PRP therapy for orthopedic conditions, graduated from Georgetown University Medical School and served his surgical internship at the University of Florida Medical Center. Following completion of a residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he served as the Chief Administrative Resident, Dr. Purita joined the Boca Raton Orthopedic Group in 1981.

John R. Roland, M.D. graduated from The University of Colorado with a degree in Biochemistry. He received his Medical degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he pursued his interest in Neuroscience and Neurosurgery. Dr. Roland continued his post-graduate work at Duke FAHEC where he was board certified in Family Medicine. His administrative success led him to numerous medical directorships at several hospitals in Texas including serving as Dallas Area Medical Director of Texas Health ER. Dr. Roland is a certified Stem Cell practitioner training in Functional Medicine. Despite success in several medical specialties, Dr. Roland’s curiosity for the causes of various diseases spurred him to study both Stem Cell and Functional Medicine. He recognized patterns of disease and lifestyle, and connections between physical conditions, behavioral habits, chronic medical issues, and psychological challenges that were not being addressed. Dr. Roland’s research, training, and clinical practice have informed his belief that proper nutrition, exercise, sleep recovery, and general stress-reducing efforts can help individual cells recover and rebuild. This recovery process, through a complex, but holistic, approach, can include therapies addressing the important roles of stem cells throughout the human body.

ABOUT THE 2018 AAOSCP SUMMIT

Join us on August 10-12, 2018 for The American Association of Stem Cell Physician Summit in the Mandarin Oriental in Miami, Florida. The 2018 meeting has the who-is-who in stem cell, live cell, and regenerative medicine field. The summit is selling fast and has a variety of sponsorship and exhibit opportunities with customized packages available. The boutique environment allows for approachable access to all presenters and ample discussion time with attendees is general and exhibitors.

AAOSCP is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Earlier today, Dr. Farshchian said, “We are very proud to be contributing to the medical community by spreading medical knowledge that will benefit many lives."
