SAN FRANCISCO, October 5, 2020 (Newswire.com) - The political action committee whose mantra is “There are no alternatives to facts” has been making inroads with swing-state voters since September using something that has escaped political dialogue during the Trump presidency...facts.
The FactPAC library is filled with fact cards that summarize a fact and list detailed sources for the reader to explore. The extensive library has multiple facts being released every day, and the committee will continue to share and promote facts through election day.
Whether it's facts like 50% of supreme court judges have been appointed by a president that lost the popular vote, quotes from the 17 Republican senators that argued against confirming a supreme court nominee in an election year, to more egregious facts about how 7 children died under the Trump Administration’s CBP custody, and that the administration legalized killing hibernating bear mothers in Denali National Preserve, swing-state voters are getting daily reminders about how destructive and inept the Trump Administration has been.
The super PAC’s philosophy is unique. Typically, PACs try to run many broad campaigns to reach the masses. That’s not what FactPAC is about. Its goal is to micro-focus on swing-state voters who fit interest groups that relate to the facts and then engage with voters and have a discussion.
FactPAC has a team of volunteers debating with thousands of commenters. Anyone who steps into the conversation on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, and tries to dismiss a fact without evidence will be met with a friendly volunteer ready to share sources and give historical context, court references, and data that support the facts.
The FactPAC volunteers are not afraid to engage with dissenters no matter how disrespectful or baseless their claims may be. They commonly weather insults and plead with their opponents to back up their claims with links. To the delight of FactPAC’s volunteers, some do provide links, which provides a great opportunity to have discussions about policies and consequences. Many of these discussions have actually lead the FactPAC team to new facts that turn into new campaigns.
FactPAC has reached nearly 200,000 swing state voters using its micro-targeted approach, and its one-on-one conversations with voters on social media have shifted opinions and changed voters' minds. In the last stretch of the election, FactPAC plans to step up video production and increase voter turnout efforts.
FactPAC completed its first fundraising quarter and is seeking donations to ensure it aggressively pushes out facts to voters before the election.
