The Donald Trump Operetta

Chicago, IL, December 11, 2015 (Newswire.com) -  Popular composer Steve Ford has created original music for thousands of national television commercials during his career and has now unveiled his own political satire piece entitled “The Donald Trump Operetta”. This five minute animated video musically addresses the Trump campaign to date.

Fascinated by the Trump phenomenon in the news and it’s distinctly American theme of a "patent medicine show", Ford composed the music and lyrics featuring “the Donald" projecting  off-the-cuff musings to an adoring audience in a “call and response” style reminiscent of the “Music Man”. The piece touches upon the zaniness of the campaign and is compiled primarily (with an occasional slight embellishment) from things Mr. Trump has actually said. “It’s been great fun to work on a project like this running up to such an important presidential election”, Ford said.
