The Dog Whisperer® Announces New Partner to Production and Brand

STUDIO CITY, Calif., February 10, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Dog Whisperer Productions LLC is pleased to welcome David Segura to the ownership group.

As a Founder and CEO of multiple successful start-ups, David brings a wealth of business acumen and technology experience to The Dog Whisperer organization. This includes Giant Media (Acquired), and most recently, Glassbox Media, a venture-backed podcast company. In addition to ownership, David will be acting as a Senior Advisor to Dog Whisperer®.

The Dog Whisperer production company and its brand, will continue to be managed and operated by Kay Sumner, Co-Creator and Producer of the Emmy Nominated TV Series, The Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan.

Biography(s):

Kay Sumner (Managing Partner)

Kay Sumner is a three-time Emmy Nominated Television Producer and Film Director including The Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan and most recently, the feature documentary, SURVIVORS (2021). She currently operates the Dog Whisperer® brand.

Melissa Jo Peltier (Partner)

Melissa Jo Peltier is an Emmy Winning, American Producer and five-time Best Selling Author. She is widely known for producing, writing and directing the A&E documentary mini-series, Titanic: Death of a Dream and Titanic: The Legend Lives On (1994), and the hit television series, The Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan.

David Segura (Partner)

David Segura is an entrepreneur and investor, as well as, the CEO of Glassbox Media, a venture-backed media company. David is an active investor in technology start-ups, with a cross selection of investments including Grove Collaborative, Eaze, Hawthorne, among others. He previously founded Giant Media in 2009 to acquisition in 2014. The company was an early riser in the video advertising industry, working with leading brands including Toyota, L'Oreal and Dollar Shave Club. David now joins Dog Whisperer® as an advisor and partner.
