Lexus of Pembroke Pines Host Breast Cancer Awareness Soiree

Craig Zinn, Founder and CEO of the Craig Zinn Automotive Group (CZAG), hosted the Lexus of Pembroke Pines Breast Cancer Awareness Soiree in support of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Broward.

The event, held at the Lexus of Pembroke Pines' new-car showroom, provided Breast Cancer survivors, caregivers, and those currently battling the disease the opportunity to come together in solidarity. Event-goers mixed and mingled, tasting bites and sips of champagne while networking with staff, volunteers, and representatives from the Craig Zinn Automotive Group. During the event, Craig Zinn presented representatives from the American Cancer Society with a $15,000 check in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Broward.

“Our CZAG team remains committed to supporting the American Cancer Society. Cancer is a battle many of us have taken on, and I know that firsthand as a Breast Cancer survivor myself. My personal experience has made me a relentless advocate for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and I am extremely proud to work for a company that shares the same passion for this fight,” said Michele Alter, Fleet Manager, and Product Specialist at Lexus of Pembroke Pines.

For close to a decade, Craig Zinn and the Craig Zinn Automotive Group have supported Making Strides to assist those impacted by Breast Cancer. This year, the Craig Zinn Automotive Group expanded its fundraising efforts beyond the walk team and sponsorship by hosting the Soiree to unite the community and raise awareness. Customers are invited to join the CZAG Walk Team and make donations at the dealerships to support the fight against Breast Cancer. All contributions collected during the program will go directly towards funding and conducting research, supporting patients and spreading awareness.

“Leadership has a responsibility to always have empathy and awareness. There's no way to describe what it's like to be a survivor or to have lost someone to cancer; your life is forever changed. We are here because we never give up," said Craig Zinn, Founder, and CEO at the Craig Zinn Automotive Group.

The Craig Zinn Automotive Group is deeply rooted in Broward County and is dedicated to supporting health and wellness initiatives through a plethora of philanthropic endeavors. Thousands of people are diagnosed each year, raising crucial funds during Breast Cancer Awareness month is one way the Craig Zinn Automotive Group continues its loyal support for those in need.

“It is because of great community partners, such as the Craig Zinn Automotive Group, that we have been able to make such a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer – with a 40 percent decline in mortality rates since 1989. We can’t thank the Craig Zinn Automotive Group enough for being champions in this fight,” said Arleen Uria-Speed, Executive Director at the American Cancer Society Florida.
