The Award Winning Yacht, Sea Symphony Is Set to Sail Again!

United Kingdom, March 3, 2016 (Newswire.com) - ​Sailing Yacht Sea Symphony gained notoriety in 2015's Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC 2015) after being the last boat over the finishing line, and winning a prize for the best blog of the race. Engine problems have meant that she has been stuck in St Lucia but now she is on the mend and ready to take charter guests.

On arrival in Gran Canaria before the start of the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) she appeared on the front page of the local newspaper, after meeting a reporter in her home base of Lefkas in Greece. An eventful sail from Greece to Gran Canaria was the start of their award winning blog, and its success continued across the Atlantic with their fun and excited crew. She looks different from the rest of the ARC fleet, because she is built on traditional lines and looks a little bit like a pirate ship! She is much admired in St Lucia.

Sea Symphony is a Formosa 51 and is a real, traditional sailing boat. Mike, the skipper is a well qualified skipper and sailing instructor. He is happy to do some informal teaching with novices, or build on any sailing skills the guests may already have. Lesley is first mate and cook. She loves making healthy and tasty meals and can cater for any specialised diet. They love to sing, write poetry, swim, laugh, create and sail.

The yacht is currently undergoing a complete engine refit, so it will be as good as new.  Once the repair is completed, Sea Symphony and her crew will be based in St Vincent and the Grenadines and Mike and Lesley are looking forward to showing their guests their beautiful yacht, and hope that their visitors will add to their blog for an award winning season.
