The Aloha Way Promotes a New Junior Partner: Lori Westcott

Keola, Director of Operations for The Aloha Way, is proud to announce that Lori Westcott has been promoted to junior partner. Lori discussed what motivates her and shared future goals, and the value of recognition was explored.

Like everyone else who joins The Aloha Way, Lori started out in an entry-level position. According to Keola, she excelled at every level of her career journey, and has worked her way through the company to the junior partner role. Lori graduated from San Diego Mesa College and is excited to bring her success with her when she expands to new offices. Her goal is to inspire others and create continuous opportunity in order for her team members to feel confident reaching their management and leadership goals.

“I love people and I love that our company provides opportunities for self-development,” Lori shared. “I also love helping great causes as they work to make a positive difference. This is why I will continue to challenge myself and raise the bar on what I can accomplish, and eventually earn my way to becoming a Regional Director.”

The Aloha Way Recognizes Results Through Promotions

One of the most important values that influences The Aloha Way is recognition. Not only do team members routinely congratulate one another for hitting personal and/or professional milestones, but the firm promotes from within as a way to show gratitude. Once people master the business skills required for success at a given level, they can move to the next position. Advancement is based completely on results, making The Aloha Way a level playing field for everyone.

To assist team members in achieving their career goals, The Aloha Way also uses a thorough training system that includes one-to-one coaching, workshops, and seminars that ensure each event manager has access to all the skills and knowledge required for success in this industry. There are even travel opportunities that get people around some of the most successful business leaders in fundraising. With this support system and the chances to advance provided by the company’s commitment to internal promotions, the opportunities for growth are virtually limitless.

Lori is sure to succeed in her new position as junior partner and is looking forward to new adventures as she continues her career generating awareness for mission-driven organizations. Keola and the The Aloha Way team are excited to congratulate her and look forward to her continued success.
