The 2013 Mazda Mazda6 Has Arrived At Bright Bay Mazda In Long Island

Online, June 26, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The 2013 Mazda6 is a family sedan with all the style and agility of a coupe. The fun driving dynamics and multitude of custom options for the Mazda6 are now available at Bright Bay Mazda in Long Island.

Five trim levels are available for the Mazda6. The iSport trim features 16-inch steel wheels, an adjustable driver's seat and cruise control among other refinements. The iTouring line includes 17-inch alloy wheels, a trip computer and features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift. The iTouring Plus bumps the wheels up to 18 inches, and adds a sunroof. The iGrand Touring adds the final luxury touches like leather seats, dual-zone climate control and a 10-speaker Bose surround-sound system.

Under the hood, the Mazda6 carries a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is commanded by a six-speed manual transmission on the iSport line. The iTouring, iTouring Plus and Grand Touring lines come standard with a five-speed automatic with manual shift control.

The s Grand Touring combines all of the upscale additions of the iGrand Touring, plus the added power of a 3.7-liter V6 engine paired to a six-speed automatic. This 16-valve engine puts out 170 horsepower and can pull 167 lbs-feet of torque. In recent Edmunds track tests, the s Grand Touring went from 0-to-60 in 6.5 seconds.

Grand Touring models also have the option of the new Technology package, which includes a keyless ignition, auto-dimming mirrors, driver memory settings, xenon headlights, a power passenger seat, automatic wipers, heated outside mirrors and satellite radio.
