TGS Educational Consulting and School Leadership for Social Justice Announce Collaboration for Racial Equity

Equity from the Inside Out

TGS Educational Consulting today announced a new partnership with School Leadership for Social Justice. This partnership will expand support available for schools, nonprofits, and government agencies seeking to serve their communities more effectively by dismantling systemic racism in their organizations.

"What excites me about this partnership is working together with educators and activists like Dr. Sharla Horton-Williams and Dr. Toni Harrison-Kelly," says Tim Grivois, Executive Director at TGS Educational Consulting. "All of us are committed to helping people solve problems, and working together allows us to serve more caring organizations."

"It's clear that Tim is not new to this work," says Sharla Horton-Williams, Co-founder at School Leadership for Social Justice. "Especially at this point—and for both of our organizations—having a diverse team and shared resources allows us to elevate and expand what has already been a powerful portfolio of services to our schools and school leaders."

Toni Harrison-Kelly, Co-founder at School Leadership for Social Justice, agrees, saying, "The reason that we (TGS and SLSJ) do this work is so that no student receives anything less than an outstanding education in a warm, respectful, nurturing school environment. Currently, students of color deserve more. This is a problem that both of our firms can help solve."

Specifically, the collaboration between TGS Educational Consulting and School Leadership for Social Justice benefits schools and school leaders through:

  • Expanded capacity to serve more schools.
  • Shared resources, protocols, and data.
  • Offering an effective model of collaboration on a diverse team.
