Tempus Resource Achieves SOC 2 Certification
Resource portfolio management solution's commitment to data security stands to test
CLEVELAND, March 6, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Tempus Resource by ProSymmetry, a resource portfolio management solution that enables product development, research, IT, audit and governance-related organizations to forecast, track and manage projects and resources today announced that it has officially earned a SOC 2 certification.
According to Net Gain Technologies, a "SOC (system and organization controls) certified organization is one that has been audited by an independent certified public accountant who determined the firm has the appropriate SOC safeguards and procedures in place. The SOC 2 protocol is designed for the more technologically complex IT service providers and evaluates for the following criteria: the security of the service provider's system, the processing integrity of the system, the availability of the system, the privacy of personal information that the service provider collects, retains, uses, discloses and disposes of for user entities and lastly, the confidentiality of the information that the service provider's system processes or maintains for user entities."
