Southern California Wine Hot Spot Kicks Off Annual Cellar Sale Event with Library Tastings, Giveaways, and Social Media Activations Focused on Living Life in the Moment
TEMECULA, Calif., July 8, 2021 (Newswire.com) - Doffo Winery, the Temecula Valley Southern California winery known for its premium wines, on-site vintage motorcycle collection, and unique wine experiences, today announced a new campaign aimed at encouraging wine lovers to pop the special bottles they have been holding on to. On July 12, in anticipation of its fifth-annual cellar sale on July 24, Doffo will kick off the #TheWineIsNow program, featuring several activations through social media and on-site at the winery.
"So often, we see people purchase special bottles to save for 'the right occasion,' only to have them not ever decide on that right occasion, and maybe even hold on to the bottle past its prime," said Doffo CEO and winemaker Damian Doffo. "I always tell customers that the wine itself is the special occasion. We came up with #TheWineIsNow to encourage people to reach for that bottle of Doffo wine that they have been saving and open it to celebrate living in the moment and creating your own special occasions every day — especially after everything we've all been through over the past 18 months."
The two-week #TheWineIsNow program will feature a social media campaign and contest that invites wine lovers to post photos and videos of themselves opening the bottle of Doffo wine that they have been saving and share the story of when they bought it and what they are choosing to celebrate as they enjoy it. The Doffo family will select their favorite story and the winner will receive a Doffo Winery gift card. Select participants will also be featured in ongoing Doffo content throughout the month.
The program will culminate in a live virtual tasting of current and library wines with Damian and Marcelo Doffo on July 23 and the cellar sale itself on July 24, in which the winery will make a selection of rare, unique, and final inventory wines available to the public for one day only.
