Speaking about the come back actor Kanwaljit Singh said, "It's always great to work with a co-star like Neena as we have great chemistry on-screen. We share an amazing comfort level since we have worked together in the past in a long running serial called SAANS on Star Plus. In Hello Zindagi I play the role of a very understanding and supportive father who is always there by his daughter's side and encourages her every move which he feels will not bring any wrong to her. At first I was a little skeptical about the script, but then it was Raja's dedication and enthusiasm which made me take up this coming of age film. The entire experience of working with such a brilliant cast and crew has been fantastic".
Whilst Kanwaljit Singh is playing the role of a supportive father, the protagonist's mother's part is played by actor Neena Gupta. "I play the role of a mother who is overly protective about her daughter and cares about her wellbeing, which every mother is. The experience of working in this movie was very fresh and nice, acting with the cast was fantastic because it involved Kanwaljitji whom I have already worked with and plus I also got to work with my friend Reena's daughter. The entire team was very professional and thorough with whatever work they did." Said Neena.
