Telepathy Japan Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of a crowd funding program via Kickstarter which will result in the commercial delivery of the company’s Telepathy Walker device. Telepathy Walker is aimed at the consumer augmented reality and personal navigation markets. Telepathy Walker is designed to enhance everyday life by assisting with personal navigation, exploring new destinations and sharing adventures with friends and family. The “smart eyewear” incorporates unique enhancements which allow the product to be used comfortably in indoor or outdoor environments and with intuitive user interfaces such as voice recognition, directional and positional location and noise cancelling directional microphone.
Telepathy Walker will be demonstrated at SxSW Conference at the Austin Convention Center, Stand 1629 from March 13 to 16. The demonstration units will be showcasing the personal navigation capabilities and directing the users how to walk to a specific café while wearing the device and enjoying the surrounding environment.
Telepathy Walker will usher in a new era of “smart eyewear” for consumer applications. Telepathy Walker is focused on personal navigation, identifying local highlights and places of interest and the ability to share the experience with others via the imbedded augmented reality platform. Telepathy continuously expands their IP portfolio to bring additional applications and enhancements to the “smart eyewear” community.
