Tech Conference Working to 'Build the Internet of Tomorrow' Coming to Montréal
MONTREAL, May 23, 2022 (Newswire.com) - The North American Network Operators' Group's (NANOG) 85th community-wide gathering: NANOG 85, hosted by Team Cymru, will take place June 6-8, 2022, in person at the Hotel Fairmont, The Queen Elizabeth in Montréal, Québec, and virtually.
NANOG 85 will feature well-known industry keynote speakers: builder of the Global Internet, Sylvie LaPerrière, and a guest appearance by legendary father of the Internet, Vint Cerf.
LaPerrière will talk about how the Pandemic affected the Internet, and Cerf will share his thoughts on IPv6 as we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of World IPv6 Launch Day.
The second of our tri-annual conference will, additionally, feature panels and tutorials, including Women in Executive Leadership: Challenges and Opportunities and Optical Fiber Capacity Limits - Where Do We Go Next?
In addition to talks, panels and tutorials, there will be several social events designed to encourage community building, including a Women in Tech Luncheon hosted by Amazon. There will also be a Monday evening social event, hosted by Team Cymru and the Montréal Event Exchange, and a Beer N' Gear with 14 companies bringing the latest Internet tools for display.
