Tanya Young Williams Joins the National Domestic Violence Hotline as a Celebrity Spokesperson

Online, July 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The National Domestic Violence Hotline is pleased to have Tanya Young Williams, author, a legal consultant and inspirational speaker as a new celebrity spokesperson. In October 2010, Tanya launched her first domestic violence awareness tour at the Cross Roads Theatre in New Brunswick New Jersey. She will continue her domestic violence awareness tour titled "By Invitation Only...For All V.I.P.s" and share with her audiences the services and resources of the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Williams is currently in production to star in an upcoming series and will use her high profile to help The Hotline raise national awareness about the 2.3 million people who have been helped by The Hotline. Tanya has chosen the Hotline as her primary charity to support through her business initiatives, speaking engagements and television appearances.

Nationally, Williams has appeared on 20/20 with Barbara Walters, Good Morning America, The Early Show, ESPN, The Mike Huckabee Show, Jane Velez-Mitchell, Court TV and TMZ.
