System Blue Welcomes the Skyliners Drum Corps

Kansas City, MO, September 12, 2016 (Newswire.com) - It is with great excitement that System Blue welcomes The Skyliners Drum and Bugle Corps to the family.  Skyliners announced that they would play System Blue Brass at DCA finals week in Rochester, NY.

Formed in 1945 to create a corps for members of two New York City American Legion junior corps, The Skyliners are an all age drum corps currently from Pennsylvania.  Over the years, The New York Skyliners have produced staff, members and instructors who have become household words in the drum corps fraternity; some are downright legends. Many of these Skyliners have been inducted into the prestigious Drum Corps Hall of Fame, Buglers Hall of Fame, and various State Halls of Fame, such as the New Jersey Drum Corps Hall of Fame.
