Syndicate Asset Management Launches EPIC International Bond Fund On Cofunds Platform

EPIC Asset Management Limited (EPAM), the wholly owned institutional fund management business of Syndicate Asset Management Plc, has launched its EPIC International Bond Fund on the Cofunds platform.

EPIC Asset Management Limited (EPAM), the wholly owned institutional fund management business of Syndicate Asset Management Plc, has launched its EPIC International Bond Fund on the Cofunds platform.

The Cofunds platform was established in 2001 and is the UK's largest independent investment platform for intermediaries providing access to over 1,300 funds; it has assets under administration in excess of £25 billion. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, the Cofunds platform provides flexible administration and management services for intermediaries and their clients.

The EPIC International Bond Fund is EPAM's first open-ended, ISA qualified fund for both retail and institutional investors. The Fund is a conservatively-run, open-ended Sterling-based fund investing in government, supra-national and corporate bonds, which aims to provide a significantly higher return than the yield on cash - as benchmarked against Sterling three-month LIBOR. It currently has over £13 million of funds under management within it.

Ravi Shankar, Managing Director of EPIC, commented:
"Since the launch of the EPIC International Bond Fund in July 2010, we have received high interest in the Fund. Launching on the Cofounds platform provides an efficient mechanism to improve access to and trading in the Fund by intermediaries."

EPAM currently manages over £2 billion of funds for primarily institutional clients. EPAM's sister companies in the Syndicate Group are Ashcourt Rowan and Savoy Investment Management Limited.
