Sweet Sweat Supports Unbeaten Top Welterweight Contender Mike Jones

Scientifically-tested thermogenic workout enhancer Sweet Sweat supports unbeaten welterweight Mike Jones in his December 3 International Boxing Federation title eliminator bout against Sebastian Lujan. Jones has been using Sweet Sweat since 2005.

Sweet Sweat, the revolutionary workout enhancer used by amateur and professional athletes for over 20 years, proudly supports Philadelphia native Mike "Machine Gun" Jones, who stakes his 25-fight unbeaten streak and guns for a shot at the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) welterweight title against dangerous Argentinean Sebastian Lujan on December 3 at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York. The Jones-Lujan bout is part of the main card of the highly-anticipated Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito rematch.

"Sweet Sweat is proud to be associated with a consummate professional like Mike Jones. We have been with Mike since his professional debut in 2005 and we will continue to support his bid to become world champion in the welterweight division," said Sweet Sweat vice-president for sales and marketing Jeff Pedersen, Jr. "And just as we believe in Mike and the value of discipline, hard work, and perseverance, we're glad that he believes in Sweet Sweat and how it helps him get in shape." he adds.

The undefeated Jones, described by promoter Bob Arum as "the best of the young welterweights," has knocked out 19 of his 25 opponents, including 12 consecutive stoppages inside the first five rounds. The 28-year-old American faces Lujan (38-5-2, 24 knockouts) in his biggest fight to date, with the winner getting a shot at the IBF 147-lb belt against the hard-hitting Randall Bailey (42-7, 36 knockouts).

Rich Meudt, Jones' new strength and conditioning coach, believes that his ward is in the best shape of his life. "When Mike started working with me he looked like a new-born calf. Now he's a strong bull. His legs are firmer, stronger, and explosive. His balance, conditioning, and endurance are excellent. He does everything I ask him to do and he exceeds all expectations," said Meudt.

A boxer's success in the ring is largely dependent on the work that he has put in during training camp. Sweet Sweat was developed to help boost circulation, energy, and sweating in order to release toxins and accelerate warm-up and recovery, making it easier for boxers to train and make weight. Aside from Jones, Sweet Sweat is also used by other elite athletes in baseball, bodybuilding, football, mixed martial arts, soccer, tennis, and track and field.
