Swedish Airport Operator Swedavia Helps Travelers With Destination Content

Sweden’s leading airport operator Swedavia have partnered with leading destination content provider ArrivalGuides to integrate destination content on the websites of the 10 Swedish airports (including Stockholm and Gothenburg) they operate.

Swedavia has launched destination pages for all their airports as well as all outgoing destinations. Through ArrivalGuides´s  API, Swedavia now provides their millions of travelers with a rich selection of multimedia and destination content, accessible to travelers via a page with all the destinations - www.swedavia.com/arlanda/flightinformation/destinations/.

Each destination contains updated recommendations from the Official Tourist Bureaus for Do & See as well as Essential Information section, but more segments will be launched in the future.

“We see a strong trend that airports are more and more extending the range of content on their websites and including destination content. The Swedavia implementation is an excellent example of how to use destination content to provide that little extra to an airport's website visitors,” says ArrivalGuides CEO Magnus Aideborn.

The ArrivalGuides destination content covers more than 550 destinations and includes over 35.000 updated POIs as well as destination videos. Along with Genève Aéroport, Airport Nürnberg, and Milan-Malpensa Airports, Swedavia Group of airports will now make use of content supplied by ArrivalGuides to increase traveler engagement and satisfaction.
