The statue was erected on the main plaza, facing the Atlanta skyline.

Designed and constructed by the artist Gábor Miklós Szőke, of Budapest, the statue is the largest, freestanding bird sculpture in the world with a wingspan of more than 64 feet and a height of 41.5 feet, according to the stadium's website. Weighing 73,000 pounds and consisting of more than 1,000 pieces of stainless steel, the statue placement was a monumental project.
