This program invite you to two-week summer retreat at In Sabina, a peaceful estate in the undisturbed wooded hills less than an hour from the beautiful city of Rome.
Workshops and courses will be given for the topics including poetry, short prose, drawing, painting, self-development writing, and yoga.
Each day will begin with a lovely breakfast, followed by exercise of your choice. During this time you will focus your mind on planning the day's scope of activities. Then there will be a delicious lunch, followed by time to explore the property, to find a space to take in the ambiance and work on your creative writing project (personal assessment, poetry, journaling, or story writing) or your painting project (watercolor, gauche, or acrylic). Both coordinators are artists who have experience in a variety of media, and will meet with you one-on-one during a scheduled time each day to discuss your process and results.
Before dinner, the second session of exercise will take place. There will be time afterward to shower and get dressed. The time after dinner is designated for reading. You may read whatever you would like, wherever you feel most comfortable.
