Sulekha Teams Up with Private Sector Banks for Home Loans
Online, October 13, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Owning your dream home now is just a click away! This has been made possible through the partnership of Sulekha Property and private sector banks-Axis, ICICI and HDFC. This is the latest in a series of transformations that the portal has undergone, beginning with the launch of online marketing of real estate property.
Sulekha property has been one of the country's leading portals dealing with the real estate sector. Started in Aug 2011, due to the tremendous growth in the past two years, it is now one of the top three realty portals in India. At first, the website consisted only of advertisements from developers and/or brokers interested in marketing their property. After a point, user needs were analysed and many other advancements were incorporated including an interface that lists the latest property trends across significant cities in the country.
By teaming up with the above mentioned banks, website users can now apply for new home loans from the comfort of their PCs. It consists of a three stage process where the user has to provide details of the home loan which includes mentioning the expected loan amount and the location of the property. In this step, the user can also mention the choice of bank.
The next step involves filling up personal details and financial details in the online form. This is the step where the salary of the individual and other specifics are mentioned clearly in order to evaluate the eligibility of the candidate for the home loan. After this is filled in, Sulekha sends the information to the appropriate bank for processing and then the banks will directly contact the applicants.
In future releases, Sulekha Property will slowly build out the home loan product to include dynamic EMI calculators, interest rate comparisons and special offers from banks. By combining these features during the actual property search process, users can have a better idea of their home loan eligibility and matching properties.
