Crystal City Couture Runway & Sale started eight years ago and has been the mecca for the DC fashion scene ever since. The event boast of Washington, DC’s area fashion designers and local boutiques, displaying their wears down a runway and pop-up shop in a storefront situated inside of the 1750 Shops in Arlington, Virginia. The one-stop shopping experience lets guests browse discounted offerings on the rack and on the runway as models showcase select offerings while enjoying complimentary beverages from the bar, free 5-minute make-up and hair makeovers, chats with fashion consultants, and groove to music.
The event is free to attend however guest can purchase a $20.00 VIP ticket. VIP ticket holders will receive an exclusive VIP gift bag and $20 of Couture Cash to spend at any retailer at Crystal Couture. VIP guest also get access to three hours of VIP shopping with offerings and discounts from the designers and boutiques, and an open bar serving specialty beers and wines from the Crystal City Wine Shop.
Hosting this years event are former radio personality 107.3 Sarah Fraser of 107.3. Also hosting is television personality and fashion guru Paul Wharton. Lastly, radio personality Tommy McFly of 97.3 Fresh FM.
