StoryPeople Press to Publish Folk Artist, Allison Strine
Online, December 16, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Decorah, IA- StoryPeople Press announced that they will publish LadyBirdLand! by Allison Strine, a noted folk artist from Roswell, Georgia.
The book features a collection of Allison's artwork accompanied by personal stories that inspired her work. The book will be released for pre order on February 7th with an official release planned for two weeks later. The book will be initially sold through StoryPeople's website, www.storypeople.com and Amazon.

Since Allison began creating her mixed media / collage artwork several years ago, her popularity has been increasingly growing. Her work can now be found in over 100 galleries across the United States and she's been featured in many nationally recognized trade magazines, including Creating Keepsakes, Somerset Studio and Cloth Paper Scissors.
StoryPeople is located in Decorah, Iowa, and was founded by Brian Andreas in the early 1990's. The company produces his art in the form of original sculptures, prints, and books, and is available on his website as well as in galleries and bookstores throughout the U.S. and internationally. Earlier this year, StoryPeople expanded their company to include StoryPeople Press in order to begin publishing works by new and established writers. Allison's LadyBirdLand! is the second book to be published under the Press.
