Steve Warren Wolfe, President & CEO Objective Solutions International
Online, September 13, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Steve Warren Wolfe is the President and CEO of Objective Solutions International (OSI). Mr. Warren has twenty-five years of financial services and high technology experience. He has successfully led numerous high profile searches and is responsible for the placement of numerous CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, IT Management as well as divisional staff hires.
Before starting OSI, Mr. Warren was President of the Summit Group from 1980-1990. He succeeded in building a multinational, multimillion-dollar organization renowned for rapid results and highly focused attention to detail. After his achievements at the Summit Group, Mr. Warren founded OSI in 1990. He launched his "all under one roof" business approach, which offers many specialized services powered by an extraordinary core research engine. This remains the cornerstone of his success today. This specific methodology has allowed OSI to be unequaled in its capability to quickly identify the best and brightest candidates within diverse sectors, even if they were never before engaged in this type of search. Along with the Pervasive Thinking Labs Department at Columbia University, Mr. Warren conceived, white-boarded and built the first search engine prototype powered by an artificial intelligence (AI) engine. This cutting-edge technology is capable of human-to-machine dialogue, which has completely disintermediated human intervention in the search process.
Furthermore, in 1995 Mr. Warren founded OSCSI, the consulting arm of OSI, for which he has also been awarded significant consulting engagements. One of the major consulting contracts included the building of a new technology platform and infrastructure for ING's U.S. Headquarters, which housed over 3,000 employees and 1,000 traders.
OSI has become the trusted source for many firms due to Mr. Warren's consistency and loyalty to his respective clients. Along with his team at OSI, Mr. Warren makes certain to not only understand the technical prerequisites necessary, but also listens carefully to what is not said. The key to identifying a good fit for a candidate search is understanding the cultural and personal details of both the client and the candidate. These skills are the key reason that out firm is more successful than others, as Mr. Warren promises that OSI does not lose sight of this detail. The very reason for a firm's success hinges on the successful integration of the firm's culture. OSI uses a thoughtful, repeatable process which has made the firm an invaluable source for clients.
Today, Mr. Warren continues to concentrate on high profile and middle management searches within Financial Services, Management Consulting, Technology, Government and Mergers & Acquisitions.

"Steve was responsible for placing me at ING as COO of the Americas reporting only to the board in Europe. Steve was not only instrumental in my placement, but also found our Head of Treasury, Technology, Equities, FX and just about every other leader we hired over the following few years. We expanded so fast that we soon needed a larger headquarters so we hired Steve's company to lead the transformation of seventeen floors at our new Park Avenue's headquarters. He was also flawless in bringing that project in on time and below budget. Steve fulfilled an extraordinary service under difficult conditions in assisting the growth of ING's many product divisions. When I joined UBS he was also instrumental in bringing top tier caliber resources including many teams with multibillion dollar portfolios and AUM." I would without doubt recommend Steve to any firm large or small if they want to get the job done!
- CEO/COO UBS Wealth Management and formally COO ING America
"I have been working with Steve and OSI for over 13 years and am continually impressed with his ability to introduce accurately described, verified, and well prepared candidates, for both technical and business positions, spanning individual contributor to Leadership Team candidates. One of Steve's and OSI's differentiators is the ability identify and deliver cohesive teams of candidates at all relevant levels, allowing for a single hiring decision. As a seasoned business leader, Steve is also an excellent C-level sounding board and trusted advisor on a series of strategic issues, offering sometimes contrarian and insightful viewpoints, putting alternatives and decisions into perspective. Thus, I value Steve as a long term partner and not merely a periodic service provider."

"Steve,
The interesting thing about life is you never know how an action you take may impact the life of another. That said, I want to let you know how profoundly you effected mine.
So 4 ½ years ago I was well engrossed as Global Vice President of Automotive in a demanding career with one of the leading Japanese electronics companies. While the experience was rewarding on so many levels it had, upon reflection, taken a toll on my health and life balance. To demonstrate this point more vividly, when my middle son began kindergarten it was, not uncommonly, a rough start. Of course, as it goes, I was out of town but cherished the 1-1 time to talk about it when I returned home. I'll never forget the moment as I re-laid to Conner that we are buddies and buddies can talk about anything. Conner, in turn, looked me straight in the eye and said, "Yeah, but you're not home a lot Dad". At that moment, like a bolt of lightning I realized that my life was out of balance. It didn't happen overnight; in fact it was the compounded reward for continued professional success. In eight years we grew the company from $50M annual sales to well over $1B. In this case, however, the reward became the sacrifice. On the spot, I made a commitment to myself that it was time to make a change and, if possible, move away from the manufacturing side of the automotive industry.
Within a month, you called and we began to explore a new career in the satellite delivered entertainment services sector of Automotive. Within a matter of weeks we reached agreement with the premier provider of Satellite Radio and a new chapter began. Let's flip forward two years: My life balance is back, albeit a no less demanding role but residing inside an American run enterprise with far less international travel. It's now 2nd grade and Conner is asked to write an essay about the most important person in his life. On this occasion, Conner writes about his 'Dad', and I quote, "My Dad plays with me, my Dad teaches me things and my Dad even got a new job so we could spend more time together". Well, there is nothing more to add other than this was one of the most powerful and satisfying moments of my life. You see, at that moment I truly learned that knowing the right thing to do is not enough - actually doing it is the key.
Let me open one last chapter, if you can imagine even more significance of these events. Last year I was diagnosed with an aggressive and terminal form of Prostate Cancer. My prognosis, unfortunately, is three years, of which I have already enjoyed (truly enjoyed) one. The renewed emphasis on Faith, Family and Friends cannot be overstated. So what does this have to do with that? Because I had rebalanced my life and rebuilt strong relationships with my wife, children, friends and faith (including our Rabbi), I was able to take this news head on and with a powerful foundation of love and support around me. I could not imagine dealing with this life changing reality in a backdrop of untended gardens and broken relationships.
So, how can one person affect the life of another? Now you know and, for that, I am eternally grateful Steve."
