Steve Perry

Presidio Real Estate is honored to announce that Steve Perry, Presidio's COO, will be serving a one-year term as the Salt Lake Board of Realtors® President for 2022. This prestigious role is one of many that Steve has volunteered for. His background includes military service and being mayor of a city as well as law enforcement. Additional roles that Steve is fulfilling this year include his seat on the Board of Directors for the Utah Association of Realtors®, and the National Association of Realtors®. Steve's commitment to helping people and making a difference is next to none. His involvement in the community is apparent as he continues to serve the people through his role as President. Steve has been a consistent Major Donator to the Realtor® Political Action Committee.

Jennifer Yeo, owner of Presidio, said, "Steve is a proven and effective leader who has Presidio's full support to lead the largest Realtor® board in the state of Utah and to fulfill his goal to 'Raise The Bar' in real estate this year. Steve wants to improve professionalism within our board." "Realtors® should be experts when it comes to writing contracts, understanding market values and helping their clients," said Steve. He continues, "By taking continuing education courses and brokers training their agents, we can all rise together."

Utah was the fastest-growing state in 2021 when measured by percent growth. Steve's perspective is that Realtors® play a vital role in homeownership. With the changing economy, the complexities of buying and selling a home has never been more difficult. There are so many legal aspects that need to be looked at and performed in a proper manner to avoid the risk and pitfalls that can happen when buying or selling without a Realtor®. Steve is committed to helping the agents on the Salt Lake Board understand their value proposition and instill professionalism in their practices.

Steve is a family man. Along with his wife April, Steve has six kids and six grandkids. Steve loves to play sports with his kids like pickleball, spike ball, and crossnet. They also enjoy fishing trips, hiking and enjoying nature in the beautiful state of Utah.
