Steps to Recovery - Lehigh Valley

Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare, a leading provider of mental health and addiction treatment services, proudly announces the opening of its newest outpatient location in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. As part of Odyssey's expanding network of services, the Steps to Recovery Lehigh Valley location was developed to meet the community's growing need for superior clinical treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.

Steps to Recovery offers a full continuum of care for addiction and mental health conditions, along with their sister program Silver Pines, that includes detoxification services, residential programs, and outpatient programs with supportive housing to step each client down successfully as they progress towards recovery.

According to the most recent information from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Pennsylvania in 2021 and OpenData PA:

  • 1,814,000 adults in Pennsylvania have a mental health condition and 598,000 of those did not receive needed mental health care.
  • Over the past 5 years, Pennsylvania ERs saw nearly 50,000 visits for opioid overdoses.
  • In 2022, 3,018 Pennsylvanians died from accidental and undetermined overdoses.

"Pennsylvania has a high demand for outpatient substance use and mental health treatment services, and we are dedicated to serving the individuals in this community through the expansion of Steps To Recovery's locations to improve access to care," said Richard Clark, CEO of Odyssey. "This expansion furthers our mission of providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment in Pennsylvania, and throughout the country, and we're proud to support the individuals and families of this community in their recovery journey."
