Steinger, Greene & Feiner Associate Todd Baker Wins Presidency of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division

Attorney Todd Baker

Steinger, Greene & Feiner is proud to announce that its associate attorney, Todd Baker of Fort Lauderdale, has become president-elect designate of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. Mr. Baker will be sworn in at the Florida Bar’s annual convention in June 2020, and his presidential term will begin in 2021.

After graduating from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2010, Mr. Baker worked as an Assistant State Attorney in the Florida State Attorney’s Office for the 17th Circuit, representing Broward. He is board-certified to practice criminal trial law, also representing cases for injured clients.

Mr. Baker began working for Steinger, Greene & Feiner’s Fort Lauderdale offices in 2015, rapidly excelling in the areas of personal injury representation and criminal defense. The energy, passion, and leadership displayed by Mr. Baker exemplify the qualities that make him a valued part of the Steinger, Greene & Feiner team.

Originally hailing from Plantation, Florida, Mr. Baker attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate studies, obtaining a B.A. in economics and another in political science.

Since the start of his professional career, Mr. Baker has been a tireless advocate for disadvantaged people both in and out of the courtroom. He is very active in community service projects, raising money for charity and participating in holiday gift-giving events for foster children. Mr. Baker’s passion for service motivated him to seek a leadership position in The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD).

“The next logical step was to get involved on a statewide level,” Baker explained as his reasoning for both joining The Florida Bar’s YLD and seeking the office of president.

He revealed that his current goal is to focus on local bar associations and affiliates, especially when it comes to outreach and community service. Mr. Baker’s vision includes local service goals, such as helping organize 5Ks, back-to-school supply donation drives, children’s reading programs, and pro bono legal work.

Mr. Baker has high hopes for the future of The Florida Bar YLD, stating that he now has, “an opportunity to make an impact.”

“I love what we do as an organization. I love the potential that we have,” Baker says. “I really appreciate the reach and the expansive nature of what The Florida Bar offers.”

Steinger, Greene & Feiner wants to express our pride in and support for Todd Baker as he ascends the ranks of professional organizations and strives to make a difference in people’s lives throughout Florida.
