Stay Alfred Expands Into North Carolina With Multiple Charlotte Properties

Company announces new travel apartments at four properties in Uptown Charlotte

Stay Alfred, the nation’s leading provider of travel apartments, announced its expansion into Charlotte, North Carolina with four properties in the Uptown neighborhood, including Stay Alfred on Music Factory Boulevard, Stay Alfred on Graham Street, Stay Alfred on Morehead, and Stay Alfred at SkyHouse Uptown.

Stay Alfred travel apartments combine the quality, consistency and guest support of a hotel with the lifestyle amenities of an upscale residential building. Having hosted more than 800,000 guests across the nation since 2011, Stay Alfred operates more than 2,500 professionally managed travel apartments in 33 cities.

“We’ve been wanting to expand into the Charlotte market for a while now and things just took off,” said Jordan Allen, Founder and CEO of Stay Alfred. “The Uptown neighborhood has everything we look for when adding a new city to the roster— great restaurants and attractions close to high-end multifamily properties. All four Stay Alfred options offer something unique for guests from an on-site art gallery at Stay Alfred on Music Factory Row to a rooftop pool at Stay Alfred at SkyHouse Uptown. We look forward to being a good community partner and giving guests from around the world the opportunity to experience the best of Charlotte.”

Partnering with multifamily developers and property managers to lease blocks of units or entire buildings, Stay Alfred then operates them as travel apartments for guests staying from one night to up to weeks at a time.

All Charlotte travel apartments feature one or two bedrooms with dedicated living spaces, full kitchen, washer and dryer, free WiFi, plus a self-guided check-in process. In addition, guests have access to the luxurious building amenities at each property.

Additionally, as part of the Stay Alfred community, all long-term building residents enjoy exclusive perks, including complimentary “friends and family” stays at their own building and discounts at any Stay Alfred property across the nation.

“Charlotte is one of the fastest-growing cities in America,” said Kacy Malloy, Charlotte City Manager for Stay Alfred. “Charlotte's vibrant Uptown is one of a kind; besides restaurants, shops, and nightlife you are also just a short distance from the NFL Panthers, the NBA Hornets, and our AAA baseball team, the Knights. This city has something for everyone.”
