Stay Alfred Announces Call Center Hiring Blitz Amid Rapid Growth

Spokane Valley-based startup looks to hire up to 30 entry-level positions at corporate office

Stay Alfred, the hospitality startup that pioneered the travel apartment concept in the alternative accommodation space, announced today the opening of up to 30 entry-level positions at their corporate call center. Founded in 2011, the company has hosted more than 700,000 guests across the nation, and 2019 is projected to be the busiest year yet.

On the heels of raising $47 million in Series B funding in 2018, Stay Alfred has seen dramatic growth and currently operates more than 2,000 upscale, professionally managed travel apartments in 32 cities and is continuing its trajectory of rapid expansion.

Growth of travel apartment offerings has resulted in the immediate expansion of the team. In the past year, Stay Alfred has hired more than 200 new employees across the nation, including over 80 in the Spokane area. In 2019, Stay Alfred plans to add at least 100 new positions across the nation.

For the past three years in a row, Stay Alfred has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The company has also been named one of the "Best Places to Work in the Inland Northwest" and currently holds a rating of 4.6/5 stars on Glassdoor.

Bullish hiring for the company’s 24/7 guest services call center has created new entry-level opportunities for candidates looking to partner with a company on the grow.

“We strongly believe in providing the best guest experience possible - and we couldn’t do that without the dedication and professionalism of our Guest Services team,” said Ralph Baard, VP of operations at Stay Alfred. “Guest Services facilitates a 24/7 call center and manages incoming guest inquiries, including live chat, email and texting. If you’re near Spokane Valley and have an affinity for travel and passion to help people, this growing department could be a great fit for you and we encourage you to apply.”

Stay Alfred offers a competitive benefits package, including guaranteed pay increases, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401k options after one year of employment. Employee perks also include hosted Lunch & Learns every Thursday, complimentary snacks and drinks, plus access to an on-site gym, basketball court, outdoor volleyball court and picnic area at the office.

“I grew up in Spokane, and it’s important to me to offer new opportunities to this great community and grow together,” said Jordan Allen, CEO of Stay Alfred. “I’m proud Stay Alfred has such a unique work culture; Guest Services is a fiercely loyal and supportive team, not to mention an imperative part of creating a positive guest experience. I’m excited to grow this department and welcome new team members to the Stay Alfred team.”
