'Station' the Film: Young Bangalore Filmmakers Create Independent Thriller Rivaling Bollywood Blockbuster Hits
Online, May 15, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Set to make its mark in Bollywood, 'Station' is an effort to produce films that are creative and hand-crafted, rather than products extracted from an assembly line machine of the entertainment industry. It aims to break tradition with its creative narrative and non-linear story-telling style, yet retaining a commercial Bollywood touch.
"Through our project, we want to show to India and the world that Bangalore has got the talent to run with Bollywood," says Saad Khan, Director of the film, in a published interview in DNA, a reputed Indian tabloid in English.
Featuring an all-new cast and crew from Bangalore, Station is entirely shot on location as well. The young filmmakers from Bangalore have stirred up some buzz in the industry already thus proving that talent and creativity can be found outside of Mumbai as well.
