Stand Together Announces Catalyst Program Will Include Reno-Based Organization
Nevada Youth Empowerment Project has been Selected to Participate in a Six-Month Program and to Receive a $25,000 Grant
RENO, Nev., March 23, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Stand Together announced today that Reno-based non-profit Nevada Youth Empowerment Project (NYEP) would be one of 16 community organizations from across the country selected to participate in a unique Catalyst Program.
NYEP's involvement will be part of the fourth installment of Stand Together’s Catalyst Program, a six-month program designed to help all 16 of the innovative groups build capacity and increase their impact to help more people break the cycle of poverty. In addition to receiving personalized coaching in a proven business framework, Market Based Management®, each of the selected organizations will also receive a $25,000 grant.

The organizations selected by Stand Together to participate in its Catalyst Program are: Bridge House (Boulder, CO), Cares of Washington (Seattle, WA), City of Refuge (Atlanta, GA), Family Independence Initiative (Oakland, CA), Inner City Visions (Los Angeles, CA), Lawn Life (Cincinnati, OH), The Last Mile (San Francisco, CA), New Pathways For Youth (Phoenix, AZ), Nevada Youth Empowerment Project (Reno, NV), NPower (Brooklyn, NY), The Path Project (Loganville, GA), Reality Changers (San Diego, CA), Shelters to Shutters (Fairfax, VA), Thistle Farms (Nashville, TN), Towards Employment (Cleveland, OH), TROSA (Durham, NC). Stand Together evaluated hundreds of organizations and selected these 16 groups based on a variety of factors, including the effectiveness of their approach, their leadership and their vision for growing and scaling their impact.

With the addition of these 16 groups, Stand Together now has partnerships with 72 organizations throughout the country. Stand Together’s fourth cohort of its Catalyst Program will begin with a three-day opening summit in Arlington, Virginia, on March 19 and will conclude in late August of this year.
