St. Catherine's Academy (www.stcatherinesacademy.org), Orange County's oldest private school, will hold its annual golf tournament on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Coyote Hills Golf Club in Fullerton. This is the academy's 21st annual golf tournament; proceeds benefit St. Catherine's Academy academic scholarship fund. Ganahl Lumber is the presenting sponsor for the event.

In addition to raising funds for tuition assistance, the 21st annual golf tournament will honor St. Catherine's alumni parent, Mary Crowley whose three sons attended St. Catherine's. Golfers will play a four-man scramble format. Other events include a putting contest and a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Lexus of Cerritos, and a Helicopter Golf Ball Drop.

The community is invited to participate in the tournament. An individual entry, which includes range balls, box lunch, cart with GPS, golf, gift, cocktail reception, and dinner is $150. Space is limited to 150 golfers. Non-golfers can support St. Catherine's by attending the dinner & raffle/silent auction for $45. Sponsorships and advertising opportunities are also available.
