Springboard Biodiesel Joins AASHE

Biodiesel equipment industry leader, Springboard Biodiesel broadens commitment to campus sustainability by joining Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)

Biodiesel equipment manufacturer Springboard Biodiesel announced Wednesday that it has joined on as a new member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. AASHE is an association of universities and colleges dedicated to promoting a more sustainable world.

"We're happy to join this impressive association," said Mark Roberts, Springboard Biodiesel's CEO. "We have 53 colleges and universities in the US using our equipment right now and that number continues to grow. By joining AASHE, we're hopeful that many more educational institutions in the US and abroad, will discover how a campus-scaled Biodiesel program can help an institutions efforts to achieve carbon neutrality while simultaneously supporting fiscal budgets."

AASHE is also one of two supporting organizations for the American College & University Presidents' Climate Commitment. (To date, 677 presidents and chancellors have committed to lead their institutions to climate neutrality as soon as possible.)
