SPI Study Abroad Announces Extended Application Deadline for Summer High School Immersion Programs

Leading high school study abroad provider enters extended application deadline period for its summer language immersion and global leadership programs

SPI Study Abroad (www.spiabroad.com), a leading program provider of language immersion and global leadership programs for high school students, announced today an extended application deadline of April 15, 2014 for their summer programs in Spain, France, Italy, Costa Rica, and China.

This year, SPI's early application deadline was extended to January 15, 2014, which gave students and their families an opportunity to lock in the lowest prices for their desired program. This was the probable cause for SPI's increased number of applications this year: currently, enrollment is at an all-time high, with two program sessions already at capacity.

A final deadline of March 1, 2014 has officially been extended to April 15, 2014. Students are still encouraged to submit applications as soon as possible, in order to ensure a secure place in the program of their choice.

SPI Study Abroad's high school study abroad programs offer students the chance to become fully immersed in another language, culture, and way of life. Students enjoy enriching cultural excursions, interactive language courses for college credit, global leadership activities, volunteer service opportunities, exciting electives, and the chance to see language and culture come to life.
